We have had the privilege of renting this house for eight years now. Our kids look forward to returning to it every year. We travel with another family and the layout of this home is perfect for all 10 of us! We cook dinner every night in the kitchen that has everything we need and enjoy our meal at the table that is large enough to fit all of us. We love all of the bedrooms that are large enough to fit four of my kids in one of them! The family room is large enough to accommodate all of us as well. Every room has amenities such as DVD players and TV's to make everyone comfortable. The proximity of the house to the lake is wonderful. We walk there every day and enjoy the private beach. And, when we are fortunate enough to have beautiful weather, we enjoy the outside deck immensely. There is nothing quite like reading a book on the patio in Tahoe! The garage even has things to keep the kids busy! A ping pong and foosball table they can play on for hours! Thank you Lynn and family for allowing us the use of your beautiful home year after year. Starting with my first inquiry Lynn (the owner) was very helpful with describing the property to me and providing the paperwork required to rent the property. The house is better than described and the pictures on VRBO as well as the additional website do not do justice to how nice the house is. Lots of windows with great views. Everything in the house is updated. And works like new. The layout is great with two bedrooms down and two bedrooms up. The kitchen is spacious and provides plenty of cabinet space to cook. The pantry is large and held everything needed for my family of five. There were already lots of spices and goods that are needed for cooking. The gas grill on the patio deck worked perfectly. The deck is large with plenty of seating and provides some nice views of the lake. Each bedroom is spacious and includes a TV and VCR. The beds were very comfortable. The den is large with plenty of seating to kick back and watch the LCD flat panel TV. The bathrooms (3) are large and have plenty of towels are provided. We tended to take long hot showers and never ran out of hot water. The garage is unbelievable. It is 1 ½ story. It includes a basketball goal (inside), ping pong, and a small foosball table. The location is very convenient to skiing and the nightlife of South Lake Tahoe. Zephyr Cove is within a mile. I would definitely stay at the house again. It is our favorite of the houses we have stayed at previously. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Charles

Hi Lynn, Just wanted to drop a noted saying how much we have enjoyed your home over the last 4 years. It is a beautiful, comfortable and functional place to stay a week or longer in Tahoe. To begin, we really like the location, in a very quiet neighborhood, close to skiing, groceries and dining (Coyote Grill!!!). In addition, the views from the dinning area and deck of the lake and mountains are wonderful. Nothing like getting up in the morning and watching the lake and mountains change color while sitting and drinking your morning coffee. Conversely, walking on the beach at sunset is also pretty good. We also like the "feel" of the house, the kitchen and dinning and living area makes for a warm gathering every evening after skiing. The bedrooms are nice and comfortable, the downstairs bedrooms work well when you have multiple families traveling together. Your home is also very clean and up to date. Every ski season we can't wait to get to Tahoe to ski and to come back "home". Already, looking forward to coming back next year. Your home helps make Tahoe a magical place for us. Thanks, Barry

Lynn, I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know how much we thoroughly enjoyed your rental home in Marla Bay this weekend. The house is absolutely lovely and laid out perfectly for our two families to have plenty of space and privacy. What a treat for us each to have our own private bathrooms. The view off your deck is breath taking! Only thing that topped that, was the walk to the beach to watch a sunset. Our six year old daughter added to your back yard landscape by building a little snow penguin. It was hard convincing her she couldn't take it home with us. We were pleasantly surprised with all the added goodies (videos, DVDs, books, games, PS2 games, local guide books, etc) you left for visitors, so we were never in need of forms of entertainment. ... We also enjoyed the other games in the garage. The kitchen was well stocked, which made meal prep a breeze. It was so nice being able to fit both cars in the garage instead of having to park them outside. Your home was spotless when we arrived and we tried very hard to leave it in similar condition.
I have to tell you, our two families have been making annual Tahoe snow trips for the past 15 years. Unanimously we all agreed that your property was the best one we've ever found! We hope it will be available next time we head up there, because now we are spoiled. Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality! Debbie
